Episode 1 starts in Tokyo, Japan, where Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho), a multilingual interpreter, works. He is very good at translating language, but not very good at translating feelings or emotions.
In the first scene of the episode, he is working on a reality show where a global actress named Cha Mu Hee ( Go Youn Jung) is participating. Cha Mu Hee is also on the show with Japanese actor Hiro Kurosawa, and Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho) is translating their language messages.
The episode features a flashback: Joo Ho Jin and Cha Mu Hee first met at a ramen shop in Tokyo about a year ago. Cha Mu Hee from the ramen shop was trying to translate something. Then she noticed Joo Ho Jin and asked him, “Did you hear everything I said?” Mu Hee asked Joo Ho, “Are you pretending to be Chinese?” Joo Ho Jin said, “No, nothing like that.”

In the second episode, Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho) is seen returning to the country after three months. He takes a car from the airport. He sits in the car and looks at Cha Mu Hee’s (Go Youn Jung) Instagram posts, follows her, and thinks to himself, “How could Cha Mu post his pictures without his permission? “Then he continues to watch the beautiful scenes of the New Year outside.
In another scene, Mu Hee meets with an accident and is taken to the hospital. Then she was in a coma for several months. When she recovered and regained consciousness, she saw that her movie had become a super hit and she had become a celebrity overnight.
Mu Hee played a Dorami character in her movie. It was a horror character. This character appeared in front of her in the mirror and laughed. Cha Mu got very upset when she saw this. We then learn a little about Ho Jin’s (Kim Seon Ho) personal life. He has a large library at home, which shows his love for languages.
Then they see him having dinner with his friends. They tell Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho) how come there is your picture on Cha Mu Hee’s Instagram? Ho Jin says that he traveled with Dorami, but he is not his friend. Everyone laughs without believing it.
Some journalists came to interview Cha Mu, but since she doesn’t speak English, an interpreter was arranged for her. He spoke Japanese very well. Cha Mu expressed her feelings. Then Cha Mu and Ho Jin meet in the car, and then Ho Jin says he has taken the work of interpreter to talk to Mu Hee.
After the shooting of Mu Hee, Ho Jin and Cha Mu walk together on the road. They talk while walking. Ho Jin then wants to say something, but Cha Mu says she is hungry and we can eat. Ho Jin agrees and asks Mu Hee to put his scarf around her neck. Then, when they sat down to dinner, he asked Mu Hee to delete his picture from her Instagram post.
Then she realizes that Ho Jin has joined as an interpreter just to meet her to delete a picture. Jin says he had no other choice, so he did the work of an interpreter. She says her post has received one million likes and six comments. If she deletes it now, people will think a lot about it. Then, Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho) says can you change the date of the post of the picture?
She says, ” Are you stupid? I can’t do this, it’s not possible. Later, she says your problem is with the date, then she understands. Ho Jin says, “I am very happy to see that you have changed a lot.” He says, “You are enjoying your life a lot.” She says, “I couldn’t make dinner for you that day. You will pay the dinner bill today.”
Then, both of them go out on the street, and Jin tells Mu Hee to return his scarf. Then Mu Hee’s friend tells her about Jin, who used to visit him in the hospital when she was in a coma. She keeps thinking about Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho). Then she talks to Jin on the phone and goes to his house. They have a conversation, and then Jin takes her to his house.
Then she asked Joo Ho Jin a question: if you had not left that day and had dinner with me, would there have been any change in our relationship? Hoo Jin says nothing like that would have happened that day. I wanted to tell that girl my feelings, and I go to that place every year on her birthday. That place and that time are a secret for me, which is why I asked you to delete the picture.
Then, they have some more conversation, and she leaves from there and says that from today onwards, I will not meet him again. The next scene shows Cha Mu Hee going to a function where her character, Dorami, pushes her down, and then an actor catches her, and they walk inside. The next scene shows Cha Mu Hee (Go Youn Jung) sitting in a corner, terrified.
Then Joo Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho) comes in front of her and, seeing her in this condition, asks her what are you doing here? And why are you crying? She says I am going to be crazy. Is there any problem? I feel like my happy day is going away. This is how the second episode ends.

At the beginning of the third episode, Cha Mu Hee is seen falling on the red carpet when Hero enters and catches her, and then both of them enter the party. Then Hoo Jin is seen taking Cha Mu Hee to a hospital. Cha Mu Hee says she just came for medicine, and she is getting late for her event. Then Hoo Jin says, “You’d better tell the doctor, okay.”
Then Ho Jin asks, “How do you know I am in this hotel?” Cha Mu Hee says, “I am also in that hotel.” I know that from my manager, who saw you in the hotel lobby.
