In the previous episode of “The Witch” Lee Dong Jin (Jinyoung) decided to solve the mystery of all deaths with Park Mi Jeong (Roh Jeong Eui).In college, as a fresher, he wrote a report for Mi Jeong in statistics class to prove that Mi Jeong(Roh Jeong Eui) was not a witch. Dong Jin did many types of part-time work because of Mi Jeong so that she could admitted into the college and to pursue her studies.

On vacation, Dong Jin returns to his hometown with preparation then he knows that she has left the village. Dong Jin was late. Dong Jin’s professor makes things worse by saying that the report he has made is critically flawed and worthless. Then Dong Jin’s professor asked about Mi Jeong(Roh Jeong Eui), and he was clear that she had a connection in all of the incidents.
Dong Jin’s mother is Mi Sook (Jang Hye-Jin). When she is very sick she tells the truth to him that she has insisted Mi Jeong(Roh Jeong Eui) leave the village. By hearing this Dong Jin was shocked and again he got the courage to believe her. Mi Sook was guilty that’s why she told him to make an apology on her behalf if he met with Mi Jeong(Roh Jeong Eui).
“The Witch” series upcoming fourth episode will show that Dong Jin is ready to prove her innocence that she is not a witch. Dong Jin in 10 years for the first time he is after running into Mi Jeong, believes that their face-to-face is destiny that’s why he quit his job to focus on the mission. A picture is captured that Dong Jin was looking for a new apartment.
Then the next time, he is in her childhood room. Then he returns to his hometown to find out the incident clues and know what caused the many accidents with Mi Jeong which is not easy work. He knows that his battle is tough.
Mi Jeong(Roh Jeon Eui) keeps distanced from other people because of she is afraid of facing the situation when anyone approaches her she thinks that they will lose their life or they will get hurt. Director Kim Tae Kyun has said that. Dong Jin is trying to find out the truth behind all of the incidents. If Mi Jeong knows the truth she will stop him because of fears that someone will be a victim of that situation Dong Jin knows that thing. That’s why without her noticing he has to come up with proof.
